Jack's first boo boo.......

Jack got his first boo boo last night at the park. He was climbing up on the play area and fell sideways and scrapped his nose and bumped his head. He's had many minor bumps and bruises but this was a big one and it hurt. It's making him tough. Everyone tells me to get used to it because this what he'll look like for the next couple of years. He's such a boy.

A popsicle makes everything feel better

Backyard Fun!

I was thinking the other day how much I love having a backyard and how much fun my kids have out their. We go outside almost everyday to play on the toys or have a picnic or just relax. Each time we go out there, it feels like the first time because they get so excited. Emily goes straight for the swing and Jack heads straight for the dirt. They both have NO fear when it comes to the slides- head first, jumping off, rolling down, you name it they try it. Being in the condo for the first 2 and half years of Emily's life was difficult without a backyard or patio or something. She just wanted to go outside and get some energy out. I am just so thankful and feel so blessed that we have this house with more room and most importantly a backyard!

Hello husband, goodbye SC.....

Well, as many of you know Matt finally graduated from USC and I couldn't be happier. It's been a long 2 years and I'm more than ready to have my husband back in action. He has worked very hard the last 2 years and got excellent grades to prove it. He has managed to balance work, school, homework, traveling (a lot for work), and family life and has done a pretty good job with it. Graduation day was a blast. I was so very proud of him and his accomplishments and I know that he has sacrificed a lot to get this degree but everyone says it WILL pay off (we'll just see about that). Here are some pictures of graduation day and his graduation party.
